The PAC Study: Understanding Pregnancy-Associated Cancers in a Post-Roe America
Created with BioRender.com

This study is hoping to learn more about the management of cancers during pregnancy.

The researchers have obtained a Certificate of Confidentiality from the National Institutes of Health.

Please share your de-identified stories with us.

Purpose

The purpose of this study is to collect stories directly from patients who have been diagnosed with cancer during a pregnancy or had cancer and found out that they were pregnant, either of which occurred after the overturn of Roe v. Wade. We are interested in hearing stories from all 50 states, regardless of whether your care was impacted by laws in your state.

Who can submit a story?

Please submit your story if you were diagnosed with pregnancy and cancer,  even if you have already delivered, lost, or terminated the pregnancy and either of these diagnoses occurred after June 2022.

  • Any type of cancer diagnosis, except for a localized non-melanoma skin cancer.
  • Any gestational age of the pregnancy at the time of cancer diagnosis and any pregnancy outcome (lost, terminated, delivered)
  • It is important that we hear from patients of all ages, ethnicities, and geographic regions within the United States.

Examples

  • A patient who was receiving treatment for breast cancer and found out she was pregnant.
  • A patient who was pregnant and then diagnosed with leukemia during pregnancy.
